Make a Memory Jar

The memory jar has been by far my mother’s favorite gift from us kids. We all submitted dozens and dozens of handwritten or typed out memories on strips of paper that we put in a pretty blue jar. Each day our mom is able to pick one memory out of the jar and read it. She loves this meaningful gift!

It’s a wonderful way to stay close even if you live far away. It’s also a fabulous gift that kids of all ages can contribute to for mom or grandma.

You can even download writing prompts for this memory jar idea at 4onemore.com.
