For many years we were involved with homeschool groups that had parties for every holiday just for fun. These parties were always full of crafts, games and themed food treats. Now that I have teenagers we don’t attend these much anymore and I always feel like my youngest gets left out of the fun.

St. Patrick’s Day Holiday Celebrations:

I still have an elementary aged child that loves holiday celebrations so I don’t want her to miss out on those. I still look for parties that we can attend, but there are times when we just have to have some fun on our own at home.

Sometimes we even take a day off of school to learn about that holiday. I look for books to read, and unit studies to work on. Our favorite thing to do is to find some crafts and a fun activity to go along with what we are learning.

We always try to wear something green, and she runs around pinching anyone that’s not wearing green that day. Her favorite thing to do for holidays is to make crafts and decorations.

St. Patrick’s Day Craft Ideas to help you celebrate this fun holiday:

I like to take the time to gather up some cute ideas, and supplies to make holiday themed crafts with my daughter. I hope this list of fun ideas can help you come up with some quick crafts and easy projects with little planning.
