I have a house full of girls (and one grown boy), so fairy tales have been a favorite thing around here. There are always movies, books, and stories being watched and read from. I love finding printables that are engaging and exciting to mix things up in our homeschool. Sometimes we need a break from the book work, and unit studies and themed printables are perfect for that.
Since Fairy Tales originated from classic story books, they can be considered literature and not just something commercialized from Disney! Though we love those as well.
I have gathered up lots of fun and educational printables for fairy tales. These can be used with younger children, and there are also some unit studies to use with older students if you are reading from fairy tales in your literature or reading time in your homeschool.

We love this Fables and Fairy Tales Literacy Unit from the Crafty Classroom!
I have personally used this with my 8 year old. This is a full 8 week long course, but we found that there is so much wonderful information in it that we spread it out over the course of our school year! It is wonderful, and fun for reading practice and comprehension helps. She loved creating her own fairy tale books to color and read. The hands on puppets and activities are great for little ones, and it is easy to use with multiple ages.
