Prairie Animals Notebooking Unit

This FREE Prairie Animals Notebooking Unit gives students a chance to dive in and learn about 33 different kinds of animals that make their homes in prairies or steppes in various parts of the world. 

Notebooking is a great tool to help your kids take ownership of what they are learning by creating a unique project of their own. They can research and record:

  • what country or countries each animal is found in
  • the type or types of climates you can find each animal in
  • the animal’s physical description
  • other interesting facts about the animal 

You can have them find the countries on a map that each animal lives in to add some geography to your science unit!
