Talking about baseball brings me joy that stems back to my childhood. If you have baseball fans at home, then grab these free printables and worksheets for baseball fans.

Baseball was actually one of the better memories I have as a child. It wasn’t a great childhood, but my family members were huge baseball fans – New York Yankee fans to be honest.
I lived in the Bronx, New York and obviously, that meant, as a Puerto Rican family, we were automatically Yankee fans.
It was almost in our blood it seems. A few times a year, the Yankees would have a game that was totally free for locals and that gave away free gifts to the attendees.
Every year, we would get on the train to 161st Street in the Bronx and have the very best time. We would set off on a journey to get our free plastic Yankee bowl hat or free Yankee wrist band.
I truly will never forget it. Then when my sisters (twins) got older, one had a boyfriend who lived 159th Street, a few blocks away from the stadium.
This brought another great memory as onlookers only need a pair of binoculars to watch the game from the rooftop of the building. Sorry, NY Yankees – yes – we totally watched from our rooftops.
So, yes. Even though my husband isn’t fond of baseball, I still love it, and at least he will watch the World Series with me every year.
Is baseball a part of your family’s life as well?
If your family loves baseball and you homeschool, then using resources with a baseball theme or teaching around a baseball-themed unit will help motivate your kids to learn.
