This is the perfect hands-on activity for those rainy days when playing sports outside isn’t an option (and it’s a fun way to slip some history into your day, too!). This FREE Sports Equipment Cut and Paste Activity includes worksheets on 11 different sports and takes a brief look at the history of each one.

With this FREE Sports Equipment Cut and Paste Activity, students read brief histories of eleven different sports. Next, they cut out the equipment that goes with that sport and paste it in the boxes given. The sports included are:

  • baseball
  • basketball
  • cheerleading
  • American football
  • golf
  • soccer
  • gymnastics
  • ice hockey
  • curling
  • mountain climbing
  • tennis

There are two versions included – color and black & white. Students can color the images on the black and white version if they choose.

An answer key is also included. It’s a fun, no-prep way to have fun learning about sports when you can’t be outside playing them.
