My son was in public school for a few years. His last year was in a second world country. Shortly after he started, I find that he was being put at the back of the classroom because he was so hyper. I was so sad for him when I found this out. I also was furious at the teacher but I was more disappointed in myself.
My kids left to the country where I live before I did. I stood back in America to sell the home and get a replacement for my work.
It took me a couple of months to realize what was happening. His reading had already regressed, so much. When I started homeschooling he was struggling so much with multiplication that I had to rewind and go back to the basics. I had to make sure his foundation was set then progress from there.
