I absolutely loved to teach my preschoolers as an Early Childhood Educator with music. There was nothing they enjoyed more than dancing and singing so I used that to my full advantage.
A University of Southern California’s Brain and Creativity Institute study found that music can actually help accelerate brain development in children, also helping aid in mathematical skills and logical skills.
Preschoolers love making music because it helps them to learn more about their bodies and senses. If you are looking for some music activities for your preschooler, you will get a lot out of this.
There is no doubt this is true. I believe it wholeheartedly. Even my kids when learning their weekly scripture, can’t help but turn the verse into a song, beat, or dance. From early on, kids can respond very positively to music. Besides the educational benefit of music, it is just plain ol’ fun for everyone!
