Spring is right around the corner, and for a lot of the nation, that means more time spent outdoors! Our favorite past time is going outside with a blanket, and laying in the grass and watching the clouds move by. Watching clouds is a fun family activity that an also be turned into a great science unit study topic.
I have put together a nice list of free worksheets, printables and science project ideas that you can use to create your own unit study on clouds. We have also been busy creating lots of high quality weather printables thhat will go along beautifully with any study on the different types of weather.

If you have a child that likes to draw, they are going to really enjoy this activity. In this FREE Guided Drawing Activity your children will read a short paragraph about all the different types of clouds. Each paragraph has a picture of the type of cloud with a grid overlay to show your children how to draw their own clouds. There are even review questions at the end of the booklet.
