Sun Safety

There are some amazing benefits to being outside. We get to breathe fresh air, and our body absorbs the ultra violet light, which in turn makes our body produce Vitamin D. Our skin can produce the most vitamin D when we are exposed to the hot sun in the heat of the day.

That is also the time of day where we can get sun burned, so sun safety is important. Teaching our kids how to care for their skin and protect their eyes and skin from too much sun exposure is a great habit to instill in them while they are young.
