I always love mixing up different hands on activities to keep my little ones engaged and learning. This works really well when your children are learning math. There is just something about using math manipulatives that helps different concepts click.

If you are like me, you are probably a homeschooling mom on a budget that can’t afford full price math manipulatives or math counters. This is where making your own comes in quite handy! I love creating my own math games and activities from things we have on hand at home and I don’t have to worry if pieces get lost, because we can always make more. I found a really cute activity from Fun Learning for Kids that uses paper cups to teach number matching skills. This uses little paper cups that you may already have in your bathroom.

You can find all the details to create this fun activity HERE.
