If you asked my children what their favorite subject was they would tell you that it was Nature study. We love nature studies so much that there have been some years we used them as a full science curriculum!
If you love the outdoors and being in nature, or you are a Charlotte Mason style homeschooler, then you most definitely will want to start incorporating nature studies into your homeschool days. I love to find nature studies that can easily go with the different seasons we are in. It is much easier to find and explore things when you are focusing on specific plants that grow in certain seasons.
Spring and Summer is the perfect time to find flowers out in nature, or even in your local garden center! We love attending butterfly gardens, botanical gardens and the zoo in the spring, so those are great places to examine flowers as well.
