My favorite part of homeschooling is all of the free time that my children get to just be kids and to play. There is so much learning that can happen with free play time.
I love dramatic play time that can be a structured sort of free time, where it is based on a theme. This is where I will take out a specific theme that they can play with for a set period of time, instead of just opening a toy box and letting them play with everything everywhere. Dramatic play time works very well for preschoolers, and little ones when you need to keep them busy while you are helping the older kids with their school work.
My children have always LOVED playing with baby dolls. We actually have a nice, large suitcase that we use to store all of our babies and their accessories. I found some really fun printables that would be perfect to laminate and use for a structured dramatic baby doll nursery play time theme. Even your older kids will enjoy helping put this theme together!
