Emotions aren’t an easy thing to get in check with our young ones. Some of their emotions are learned, some are in their character and some are just not in them yet. What do we do then, when we know some emotions are inevitable in our kiddos?
These FREE printable emotion faces and activities can help your kids understand and deal with their emotions effectively.
These preschool emotion faces and activities are perfect for talking to your kids about how they feel and why. Kids are more likely to talk about the face on the picture instead of reflecting on themselves.
Your child will learn a lot from these simple emotion cards that steer clear of over-complicating their everyday feelings. Not making a big deal about them, yet teaching them they are important can be tricky. Therefore having a resource like this can get them to express themselves in little ways they weren’t able to before.
Sometimes kids have emotions that we may not understand. Or we may not understand why they are having specific emotions. For instance, sometimes I couldn’t understand why my daughter would get so sad sometimes.
I looked at my childhood and how much better she has it and assumed she would just be so happy because of it. I had to remember that each of our walks with the Lord is different. We can’t walk in each other’s shows, therefore, we can’t always know exactly why someone reacts the way they do. However, we can address it in a proper way and help them through those emotions successfully.Other posts and resources you might enjoy:
