This free science curriculum spine will take your elementary student through physical science, life science, and earth science. Throughout this 8-part series your kids will study what an ecosystem is, why animals hibernate and how food chains work, how plants grow and some of the ways we use them, major body systems along with key organs and tissues, the water cycle and clouds, the solar system and constellations, forces and simple machines, the scientific method, famous scientists, and more.
As a spine, you can make this a full curriculum by expanding on the materials covered with hands-on activities and unit studies, etc. Some families may find that the topics and information covered is enough for a full science curriculum for early elementary.
