Little kids just LOVE trains!

trains
I don’t know what it is about trains but ALL of my children have adored them. I have one boy and three girls and two have my girls have been so obsessed about trains and loved them even more than my son did. We still have a huge train set that we pull out on rainy days or during quiet time. It will keep them busy for hours.

If you have a child that loves trains then you may want to have a fun week of learning about trains.
Here are some great train themed printables and crafts:

Shoebox Train from Cutesy Crafts
Make a train out of shoeboxes for the kids to pull around the house. Great craft for learning about trains!

We don’t have a train table at our house, but I do have a nice rubbermaid tub that I store all our train sets in. When it’s “train time” we pull the tub out and the kids make tracks all over our wooden floors. It’s a lot of fun and gets put back at the end of the day. Here are some affordable sets that I recommend. We have a few of these in our big tub!
