Have you ever heard of Wikki Stix?! I have never heard of them until today, but I asked my 13-year-old and sure enough – she knew exactly what they were. Apparently, they are really cool and kids love them. If you have young learners at home, then check out how you can use Wikki Stix in your homeschool for them.
Wikki Stix is a hand-knitting yarn that is enhanced by microcrystalline (a food-grade non-toxic wax). The wax is the stuff that is used to make lipstick and bubblegum – yes your bubblegum has wax in it. Mind is blown.
Some restaurants are now giving these to your kids instead of regular coloring menu and crayons to keep kids occupied until your food arrives. Kids are kept busy the whole time.
This resource explains 7 cool ideas about how to use Wikki Stix in your homeschool. These ideas can help your kids with fine motor skills, tracing, coloring within the lines and so much more.
Grab some Wikki Stix for your homeschool and see just how useful they can be for learning and for fun!
