There are different types of felting crafts out there. I really like needle felting because it is simple, it doesn’t require water like other felting. Needle felting is an amazing craft that uses barbed needles and pieces of wool to create shapes onto existing pieces of felt or fabric and even adorable 3D creations. It is a beautiful craft that is simple and lovely, all it takes is a few supplies and a little patience.

My daughters always like to look on Pinterest with me and have been intrigued by the adorable needle felted creations they have been seeing on crafting boards I am a part of. I also stumbled upon some beautiful creations when looking at Waldorf school ideas! I had no idea what was involved in needle felting, so I decided to go to the internet on a search of how to needle felt. This is a round-up of things I found that would be great for anyone interested in learning more about needle felting.
