Growing up my family only had dessert with our meals. At least not regularly. We would have them for holidays and special occasions, but they were definitely not part of our daily meals. My husband grew up the same way, so we have passed that on to our children – despite their nagging.
My kids love a good dessert, but we often reserve them for birthdays, holidays and the occasional treat. It’s not that they don’t love sweets, they do! But we don’t want them to come to expect a dessert or sweet treat at every meal.
However, that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy them and splurge, especially when the air fryer makes it so easy! I have loved finding and sharing all these amazing air fryer recipes over the past few weeks. So of course I had to search find desserts!
