I love finding fun activities to help my kids learn their math facts. Math can be very stressful (at least around my house) and it is nice to break up the normal math lessons with fun activities that will be low key, yet still help them work on their facts.
Breaking a code is a fun way to work on math skills. This printable code breaker also makes for a fun craft to put together. Your kids can print it out, cut it out, and assemble it themselves. They can try to crack the code when they are on a long car trip or when they are just needing to fidget with something. I like to break out things like this during holiday breaks to keep them fresh on their math skills.
