Free Resources for Learning about Bees

Bees are important pollinators, but they are also disappearing. They work hard to keep us humans fed with lots of fresh food, so now is a good time to learn more about these tiny creatures with these free resources for learning about bees, and perhaps, start a flower garden to do a part in helping to save the bees.

These fun and free activities are a great way to instil a love and respect for the beautiful and hard-working bees.

Preschoolers and toddlers will love these Bee Counting Mats. This hands-on activity focuses mainly on the numbers 1 – 20. Here is a different set of counting mats you may also enjoy.

Introduce young children to the letters of the alphabet with this fun Bee Letter Find Activity.

A fun way to learn about the life cycle of a bee is with these fun Bee Life Cycle Playdough Mats. Children will also be having fun while working on their fine motor skills as they mould the playdough into the correct shapes that relate to the different parts of the life cycle.
