FREE Printable – Sea Turtle Study Filled with Fun Facts

Your homeschool kids will learn all types of fun facts about sea turtles with this free printable resource. We love sea turtles in my home. I have lived on an island in the South Pacific for the last several years now and the sea turtles are endangered here. Law has been put into place to make it illegal to capture them and people are starting to see them come back. They are literally some of the most beautiful creatures we have ever seen. Their grace in the waters is breathtaking.

My kids loved learning these super cool facts about sea turtles. After they learned the cool facts about sea turtles, we took a drive to a small inlet by the ocean to visit the infamous three turtles who swim freely as people watch in awe. I wanted to share with you one fun and cool fact we learned from this post. It was incredible and it gave our kids even more appreciation for the sea turtles in and around the island. There are ONLY seven different species of sea turtles in the entire ocean! While there are thousands of species of fish in the ocean, there are only seven different types of sea turtles.
