You will not find a gap in math skills with this summer resource for your homeschool. Encouraging learning during the summer is not easy for most moms, but this math freebie can definitely help.
I know kids might be super excited to be “free” from math in the summertime. However, studies show that it takes twice as long to get back into studies after the summer than if you would have kept doing academic activities and learning straight through the summertime.
There is even a name for it; the summer slide. The summer slide is a regression or loss of all that valuable learning that took place during the school year.
