Addition and subtraction are essential foundations for mathematics in your homeschool. Many different levels of math build off of your students learning addition and subtraction well. These free printables for addition and subtraction using dominoes will be good fun for your children.
We are a dominoes playing family. My husband is somewhat of a genius at it; he grew up playing in the streets of California (Thank God for redemption, right?!) Well, his love for playing dominoes never left.
And me, well, I am Puerto Rican. I can pretty much bet that playing dominoes was a right of passage growing up. I have a full set of dominoes with a Puerto Rican flag in the back of them. Don’t judge me, Puerto Ricans love the island flag.
When I saw this freebie, I knew I had to share it in hopes that another dominoes loving family will be able to use the domino set around the house for teaching their kids. How cool is it I can use my Puerto Rico domino set to teach my kids addition and subtraction? I am all in.
My husband thought it was pretty cool too, and got involved with helping my son on the worksheets. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
This freebie comes with two downloads, one for subtraction and one for addition.
