Why should we study rocks and minerals? That is a good question. Well, we know that geologists study rocks because they contain clues about what the Earth was like in the past.

It is crucial we teach about rocks and minerals for similar reasons. Rocks and minerals are basically, the foundation of our world. Without foundations of rocks and minerals we would have no towns or cities –no civilization as we know it.
