Teaching Math without textbooks is a great way to help our solidify math in a tangible, real life type of way. 
If you are looking for ways to make math come alive for your kids and give them a break from the textbook or computer programs, I found the perfect idea from Creative, Clever and Classy! She has created a Math Scavenger Hunt designed for elementary ages. This hunt will have your kids searching through a magazine or newspaper to find the answers! This will be a lot of fun.
