My bible studying has been enhanced ever since I started incorporating journaling to it. I usually am pretty conservative and black & white when it comes to bible study. I use commentary, research the time period, hear sermons on the specific book I am studying and I do word studies alongside that specific book. I want to absorb all there is to know about God’s Word. I need to do all this, because I have a very hard time retaining the information. Journaling, alongside my bible study, helped make it a little more personal for me. I now retain a little more because of it.
