Each week in this famous artists series we will be highlighting an artist, with free resources, printables and unit studies to give you an in depth study. This week is Claude Monet.


Claude Oscar Monet was born in Paris, France in 1840. He was a revolutionary with his painting technique and was one of the first impressionist artists who founded the Impressionist Movement. He is most famous for his beautiful water landscape and garden scene paintings. He love nature and got most of his inspiration from his gardens and flowers. He was so happy tending and painting in his gardens in Giverny.
