Supplies for Easy DIY Gifts
Don’t tell any of my friends and family, but they might be getting these easy DIY gifts this year. The best thing is, they don’t look cheap! What am I referring to?
I’m talking about printable art gifts. Basically, you would find beautiful free art prints created by bloggers and other creatives online, have them printed at your local photo print shop and pop them in a thrifted frame. Super simple, super thrifty, but still cute.
Here’s how to do it.
First, find frames with great bones at thrift stores and yard sales. Or, if you want to grab them online, check out these great options below.
Don’t overlook thrift store frames that have an ugly paint job. This is simple to remedy! Grab cheap acrylic paint and foam brushes at your local store and give the thrifted frames a new fresh color.
One last simple option is to purchase vintage or new clipboards and simply clip the print into it. This way, you could rotate prints throughout the year.
Now you’re ready for some art prints.
Free Art Prints
Once I started looking around, I was amazed at the vast amount of beautiful, free art prints online! These are usually available for your personal use, which would include gift-giving. You just can’t sell them.
You might have to subscribe to a designer’s newsletter to get this freebie, but that’s just the way it works. Totally worth it in my opinion. And if they blog about topics that you’re not interested in, you can always hit unsubscribe.
Here are some of the best Christmas art prints on the internet.
