How do you teach synonyms and antonyms?

It is best to teach words with similar meanings and opposite meanings using visual context clues in photos or images.

Kids can better understand hot and cold if they see it in a picture. For example, an animated character shivering cold and one that is sweating hot. They can see that things are both neat and clean with pictures of places tidied up.

One of the best ways for kids to learn is with visuals and with hands-on activities. Therefore, videos online about antonyms and synonyms work well, and games like Bingo are perfect for some learning fun.
