This FREE Bible Verse Memorization Copywork unit helps kids think about the words of three favorite Psalms as they trace and copy the verses from the King James Version of the Bible. The Psalms included in this unit are:
- Psalm 46
- Psalm 81
- Psalm 121
Psalm 46 talks of God’s power and presence with us in trouble. Psalm 46:1, 10 reads, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble . . . Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 81 talks of God’s deliverance of His people and the importance of obeying Him. Psalm 81:10 reads, “I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt.”
Psalm 121 is a beautiful Psalm of praise that reminds us of God’s continual presence with us. It reads, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
