First Day of School Crafts

My children love doing crafts. If you ask them what their favorite part of school is, it would most likely be crafts. We incorporate crafts into everything.

I like to give these to my younger children to work on for “school”. This gives me time to introduce my older children to their new school schedules and curriculum.

First Day of School Signs

A tradition in our homeschool is taking pictures on the first day of school and using free printable signs. We also like to take first day of school photos. Since we have relatives that live far away, I love to post our first day of school pictures. It helps include them and they get to see all the fun stuff we get to do in our homeschool.

Tips for Your First Day of School Signs

The first day of school is the perfect time of year to take advantage of a photo op. Have your children get dressed in their new clothes (or at least clean clothes!) and snap a picture of them for their homeschool portfolio.
