I have always been of the mindset that little ones need to play more than sit and do early learning workbooks. However, there is always a time and place for everything. And it doesn’t hurt to teach them how to sit properly and use a pencil and paper at an early age. So long as you’re balancing their “playtime” with work time, I think you’ll be just fine.
And truth be told, I’m not against workbooks for kids. I loved them as a child, so naturally, I would like my kids to enjoy them as well. However, I know most kids at this young age want to play all day. And while they can learn through play, there are certain things they can’t master just through play.
Since we mostly do child-led learning through elementary, I typically don’t want to spend a lot of money on them. So fun, easy-to-use early learning workbooks are the perfect solution. And what’s better than FREE workbooks you can print over and over, right?!
Whether you’re ready for early learning workbooks or just want to use them as needed for your little ones, you’ll love the FREE options to get you started!
