- Banjo
- Bodhrán

- Celtic harp
- Concertina
- Irish fiddle
- Irish flute
- Irish lyre harp
- Irish wooden spoon
- Mandolin
- Tin Whistle
- Uileann Pipes
There are three parts to each page of the flip book. The first part is a large blank box where children can get creative. They can draw a picture of the instrument, even labelling the parts of it or they could write use it to ‘dump’ short facts about the instrument all over the box. Younger children could cut and paste a picture of the instrument in this box.
The second part is a set of lines. Older children can research the instrument and then use these lines to write a description paragraph or even a creative story about the instrument. Young children could write a few words on another piece of paper, and paste that over the lines. Included in the pack are reading pages that contain a couple of sentences about each instrument. These can be used, though extra research is recommended.
The third part consists of a color or black and white image of the instrument – depending on which page you print out. For the color image, children could just leave it or label some of the parts, for the black and white image, children can color in the image or decorate it how they wish.
