This could quite possibly be the best topic I have ever written about. PIZZA! If you really know me, you would know that my favorite food in the world is pizza – New York pizza to be specific. Because I love pizza so much, I am sure you wouldn’t be surprised if I explained how to teach almost anything with pizza.
Homeschool moms talk all the time about developing lessons that incorporate their child’s interests. Well, not the second week of January! The second week of January is National Pizza Week, and we are doing lessons with mom’s interest in mind – PIZZA.
My favorite memory as a child was when my father would take me to get pizza. He would often take me to a pizzeria just a few blocks away from our apartment building. Even if our walk included us being knee-deep in snow, the pizza was worth every step. I guess that memory never left me and neither did my love for pizza.
Who else is excited about all things pizza? I am, and I bet your kids will be as well. Pizza seems to be a favorite among many kids and parents alike. Take advantage of National Pizza Week and do all things pizza. We are ALL in.
I am amazed at just how many lessons we can teach with the pizza theme, so I wanted to share them with my fellow pizza lovers out there.
You really can teach almost anything with pizza. Don’t believe me?
