Most of the stories use repeating sentence patterns. Student many need help for the first few pages, but then they should be able to follow the pattern for the rest of the book. There are two levels for each book so you can differentiate for each student’s needs. The words for each story are listed on the back of each book for easy reference.
There are four main stories in this series:
- Turkey Supplies – A book with turkeys holding school supplies.
- Turkey Dinner – A book about a turkey making Thanksgiving Dinner.
- Finding Dinner – A book about a detective turkey finding Thanksgiving Dinner.
- School Turkeys – A book about turkeys doing different subjects at school.
All the pictures are big and great for coloring. Make reading time more fun this Thanksgiving by letting students read a book they have colored themselves!
