Christmas is the season of giving. I love shopping for gifts for my friends and family and enjoy bringing little presents to different events we are attending.
If you have a large family, and lots of parties or events to go to, gift giving can get pretty expensive. This is why I like to make homemade gifts.

Homemade gifts are special because they are thought out, and handmade with love. When I am putting gifts together at Christmas time I like to take the time to pray over those that I am making them for, and customize them to what I know the recipient will really enjoy.
Sometimes it can be hard to come up with some ideas for homemade gifts if you aren’t crafty. One of my favorite gifts to put together are gifts in a jar. They are cute and creative, if you already have lots of jars at home, they can save you a ton of money.
There are many ways that you can get creative with stuffing your mason jars and turning them into personalized gifts.
We enjoy canning homemade salsa, and jelly. Because of this, I usually have a lot of jars around my house, specifically mason jars. There is always a large supply on hand.
I am constantly on the look out for sales and coupons on Mason jars, as well as scouring thrift stores and yard sales for them. They are one of my favorite containers because they are very budget friendly and are a multi use product.
Mason jars never seem to go out of style. They have been around for generations and have been trending in the Home Decor world for the last decade.
They work great for DIY projects, home decor and to use for gifts in a jar. There are many different types of gifts in a jar that you can create. Such as, the traditional cookie and drink mix gifts, but there are also more creative and unique ideas as well.

Labels are a great way to give your gift that personal touch you have been looking for. Purchasing tags and labels can get expensive, so I like to find free ones that I can print at home. Then you can add your own ribbons to spruce up your packaging of your gift.
