Sharks are fascinating, though sometimes, terrifying creatures. These unique creatures are part of a large group of fish that inhabit the oceans. With a cartilaginous skeleton, gills and several rows of teeth, these fierce looking creatures are seen as ruthless predators, though may species are quite docile and harmless.

Summer is a great time to study these amazing animals, and to help you with this, I have created and gathered a list of Free Shark Themed Printables that could easily be incorporated into your homeschool studies, shark unit or to help improve math and literacy skills.

Free Shark Fact Printables

Learn about sharks with the help of the book, How to Survive as a Shark, by Kristen Foote and this printable shark fact book. There are two different version of this fact book, the first being aimed at younger students with a few words on each page in dotted print for them to trace as they read. The second is aimed at older students. They will need to research great white sharks to find the answers.

With these Shark Cards and Notebooking Pages, children will enjoy learning about eleven different sharks, including the hammerhead shark, the blue shark, the tiger shark and more.
