Homeschoolers far and wide love the homeschooling resources created by Ellen McHenry’s Basement Workshop. They are extremely thorough, but at the same time are written so children can understand and grasp advanced concepts such as chemistry and botany.

This science course on viruses is targeted to middle and high school and it can even be used by students who have not yet studied cell biology at the high school level. The amount of content this course offers is quite considerable. There are lecture pages that use a drawing lesson to help students grasp otherwise tough concepts. Also included is hands on activities like paper models to put together, suggestions for labs, and lots of supplemental video clips.
