Learn how to encourage your tween to take care of basic hygiene without nagging them. This free checklist will help encourage your tween’s sense of responsibility in taking care of themselves well. As my daughter was becoming a tween, I really didn’t know everything of what that entailed. She was my eldest and unfortunately, we all learned the hard way. I will share a story.

Teaching Hygiene

We were getting ready for a family member’s graduation, when I thought to do my daughter’s hair in a special way. She seemed weird about it, but I didn’t really pay much attention to why. I shortly realized… as I tried to put the comb through her beautiful curls, that she had two HUGE dreadlocks in her hair.

She has really curly hair and apparently, I just assumed that she knew to comb it every day. Now that I look back,  and after having to chop off two dreadlocks off my tween’s hair, this hygiene checklist would have been super useful. Don’t be me. Get the checklist.

Hygiene Checklist

This printable hygiene checklist includes basic care concepts like brushing teeth, hair, and putting on deodorant. It would be a great chart to help keep kids focused on their personal care and hygiene.
