Music literacy is something that can bless your child her entire life. You never know when the opportunity to sing will present itself, and it’s so nice to have a clue as to what’s going on! My own children have been in multiple singing groups – church choirs, co-op Christmas programs, church congregational singing, leading VBS music – and I’m sure yours have, too. 

The diatonic scale is a musical scale that is comprised of intervals with five whole steps and two half steps.
