Origami is a paper art craft that is really fun to learn about when you are studying about the Japanese culture. Your children will enjoy watching paper come to life as it turns into realistic animals.
If your preschoolers are too little to learn how to make difficult folds to create origami they may have some fun with these adorable coloring pages that I found from Mr. Printables. These coloring pages show what an origami animal may look like in it’s abstract geometrical form. Your little ones will have fun guessing what animal it is, as well as coloring the different folded shapes and adding facial features to the animals.
