I have read through the Old Testament more times than I can count and I still struggle with remembering if the kings were good or bad. It shouldn’t be too difficult, since there are not very many good ones, but the names alone cause confusion for me.
I am reading through the Old Testament with my 4th grader right now and we are once again learning about the kings of Israel and Judah and I thought it would be helpful to have a chart as well as some notebooking pages that she can use to write the details that she learns as we read about the kings in the bible.

This free bible notebooking resource on Old Testament kings includes charts for:
- United Kingdom of Israel (Before Division)
- 20 Kings of Judah (and Benjamin)
- 19 Kings of Israel (Ten Northern Tribes)
The charts include the following information:
- The king’s name
- When they reigned and for how long
- Whether they were good or bad in the eyes of the Lord
- The names of the prophets during their reign
- Where to read about them in the bible
Of course, no resource is complete without notebooking pages. I created 2 types of notebooking pages and included one for a queen, since Athaliah (WICKED) reigned as Queen of Judah for 6 years. Essentially, you could use that notebooking page to study the other queens as well.
