Help students enjoy learning about the first ten Presidents of the United States as they complete the activities in this FREE Early Presidents Compare & Contrast unit.
In this FREE Early Presidents Compare & Contrast unit, students will get to know the first ten Presidents of the United States.
Through a series of activities, they will have the chance to research each President and record information about their lives, their terms, what domestic issues they faced and how they dealt with them, what international issues they faced and how they dealt with them, and what major U.S. and world history events happened during their term(s).
Then they will compare and contrast the Presidents two at a time by creating Venn diagrams that reflect what they’ve learned.
They can also draw a picture to remind themselves of one of the two Presidents in each of the five sets of activities, and they can create flashcards to help them remember what U.S. and world history events happened during the presidency of one of the two Presidents.
