Learning about the Presidents of the United States can be fun, but it can be hard to find activities that teach about what some of the lesser-studied presidents, such as James K. Polk and Zachary Taylor, accomplished. Help your students have fun and learn about these men with this FREE Presidents Puzzles and Research Unit.

Learn About the Presidents Notebooking & Activities Free Download

Learn about the lives of the nation’s eleventh and twelfth presidents with this FREE Presidents Puzzles and Research Unit. Through notebooking pages and fun quizzes, students are prompted to research the lives of James K. Polk and Zachary Taylor. 

For each President, students will: 

  • complete a notebooking page
  • create a timeline of 10 key events from his life
  • complete one or more puzzles about various topics such as key people and places

It’s a great way to get students engaged in and excited about American history!
