Build a Room Cut and Paste Free Activity for Kids

Build a Room Activity

What child hasn’t daydreamed about the kind of house they would build if it were up to them? I don’t have any idea how many pictures of dream homes I drew growing up.

I loved imagining a house with room after room after room (of course, that was before I knew that a simple couch can cost more than a week’s pay, but that’s part of the fun of being a kid!).

What’s in the activity pack?

In this FREE Build a Room Activity for Kids pack, kids will get to:

  • look at pictures of six rooms, determine where the missing pieces fit, and cut and paste the appropriate items to complete their picture
  • decorate a bedroom template to look like whatever kind of room they want
  • draw their favorite foods on the dining room table
  • identify things that do not belong in the living room
  • match which kitchen items belong in the refrigerator, freezer, cupboard, and oven
  • draw their idea of the perfect backyard or playground
  • match items to the room each belong in
  • and more

It’s a fun and low-prep way to engage their hands and their creativity. Download your copy and watch what your kids create today!
