DIY Birdfeeders Nature Crafts for Kids

My girls are always begging me to do crafts with them. Throughout the school year we always seem to be too busy with extracurricular activities, and school to do extra crafts, so when summer hits we are breaking out all the crafts.
DIY Birdfeeders are the perfect nature crafts for kids that enjoy watching birds and being out in nature. My girls love to birdwatch, and we have lots of different types of birds year round. Here in Florida, there is always a good time to hang a bird feeder outside in nature. Summer is the perfect time to break out your craft supplies and get to creating your own bird feeder.
There are so many different types of DIY birdfeeders from easy to complex, that are great for any age. I like to get some of the plain wooden ones from the dollar section or discount section at a craft store. These are great to use up different paints that need to be used up, and your children can be creative and really customize them to their own style. Others can be made using supplies you can find around your house and even in your kitchen pantry.
