All About Wolves: Unit Studies and Free Printables

The great thing about homeschooling is being able to cater to your children’s interests. My daughter loves animals. Right now she is really into wolves after watching the movie White Fang. I thought it would be fun to have her do her own research on wolves and learn about them with unit studies and books. Here are some fun things I found:

All About Wolves is a website devoted to learning all about wolves. Their education page will help you learn how to track wolves, listen to wolves and you can even view a wolf habitat!
Wolf Identification Page from WDNR – learn the difference between a wolf, coyote and dog and their tracks and different characteristics.
Wolf Country is a really neat website with tons of facts and information about wolves. There are pictures, videos, facts, links to stories and myths and so much more. You could spend hours on this site learning about wolves.
Wolf Quest has an entire page full of classroom activities that you can use to do your own unit study on wolves.
National Geographic has a wolf page devoted to facts and gorgeous photos of wolves.
