Rewind my life ten years ago, and I remember hymns were NOT on my list of things to learn. Now that I know better, hymns have helped me through countless trials in life. I want my children to know this as well. If you want your children to embrace hymns at home, check out these 25+ hymns our kids should know.
I grew to know the Lord in a church with AMAZING praise and worship. I mean, it was soulful and fun, well we had to leave that church abruptly and it ruined me for years.
One area it ruined me in searching for churches with the same awesome praise and worship experience. Well, low and behold, I never found anything to match it.
I was on a search for a Spanish speaking church, yet the Lord kept bringing me to this small Baptist church and guess what they sang? Hymns, only hymns.

I was resisting, but the Lord had other plans. I was invited to the church again and the hymns started I felt like I should just listen. Just listen to the words. Ever since that day, hymns captured my heart and I can’t get enough of them.
We sing hymns with our kids before our Bible study time and I can hear my kids humming them or singing them during chores. I pray that the words resonate with their hearts and souls and help their walk with Christ one day.
