If your kids are fascinated by fossils and love learning about dinosaurs, they will really enjoy learning about Paleontology.
From the National Geographic Society, Paleontology is described as: “The study of the history of life on Earth based on fossils. Fossils are the remains of plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, and single-celled living things that have been replaced by rock material or impressions of organisms preserved in rock.”
Paleontologists use the remains of the fossils they have found to understand about extinct and currently living organisms and their environment.
